Why executive education programs for women only?

Female leadership is needed now, more than ever. 

Dr. Nancy Coleman, Program Director of Wellesley Executive Education, illustrates that although progress has been made in the advancement of women’s equality in the workplace, a wide gap in leadership and gender disparity still exists. According to Catalyst (2019), women hold 51.5% of all management, professional, and related occupations. However, in S&P 500 companies, women are less represented the higher up they go.

COVID-19 UPDATE 9/3/20: Wellesley College's senior administration recently determined our campus will remain closed to the public and to outside guests throughout the fall in order to protect our community of students, faculty, and staff. As a result, all Executive Education programs scheduled for 2020 at Wellesley College have been regrettably cancelled.
We often say Wellesley's Executive Education for Women is an experience and a place that transforms you. We considered alternative methods to deliver the powerful messages our instructors want to share with you; however, the many restrictions brought forth by the pandemic impact how we can effectively create an optimal experience. We hope we may find innovative ways to come together again in 2021. Until then, we wish you health and safety during this extraordinary time.
